The gallery from the street Artesepia, which was inaugurated at the beginning of 2004, specializes in Old Master drawings. After opening the gallery Arsinopia at the Puces in Paris-Saint-Ouen over 5 years ago and experiencing three years of salons all over France, Georges and Angélique Franck have hung their drawings in a charming location at 40 rue de Verneuil. Now they have enough space to present their collection and to install their documentation.

Georges and Angélique Franck
both belong to the new generation of art dealers. They have been passionate about drawings for a long time. When they wished to start their business in 2000, they decided to do it first at the Puces, at the Serpette market.
 Inside the gallery
- Old Master Drawings
The gallery at 40 rue de Verneuil is a large enough space to exhibit numerous old Master and 19th century drawings from the French, Italian and other schools (northern etc).

- Views of Paris
In November 2005, Artesepia opened a Views of Paris department intended to become a full speciality in parallel with the Old Master Drawings speciality. In this context, the gallery exhibits drawings from all schools but also oils on paper, on canvas or even sculptures which have a connection with Paris.

-
Jules Machard
The gallery also presents a large stock of drawings by Jules Machard, an artist from the Franche Comté region, who was active in the second half of the 19th century by whom we showed a group of almost 200 drawings during a one-person show in November 2004.

From now on, this website will be an extension of the Artesepia gallery, allowing a large of number of works to be seen. It will be a lively and dynamic link between us and all those who are passionate about drawings but who are sometimes too far away to come regularly to 40 rue de Verneuil.
Feel free to come back from time to time and join our mailing list to be kept informed about all of our activities and our exhibitions !
